Happy Easter!
Remember how my mom and I steamed some of our homemade mandu a few weeks back? Well, here are some of them getting fried up. The trick to frying mandu without just getting 'em all dry and crusty on the outside is to throw a splash of water in the hot frying pan after they have been lightly browned on both sides. Then, quickly cover the sizzling pan with a lid so that you create a nice sauna for them to steam a little bit. That way, they're crispy but not dry. Yummm~
Vegan mandu with a bowl of lentil soup. What a wonderful dinner!
